(((( The Almighty CX Sound ))))

Word Sound Power!

One of my new years resolutions for 2012 was to do something about my current blog state on blogspot which I was not 100% happy with. I’m not a huge blogger but I find that wordpress is solid, and a world apart when compared to blogspot which I plan to run into the ground here asap and resume my music doings here.

Just a bit of a recap on what’s been going down musically late 2011, early 2012.  After close to a decade..(wow I just felt very old saying that) of banging out beats at 165-175 bpm range I really felt i needed a healthy change of pace from good ol’ drum&bass. Under my CX moniker i’m taking things down a few notches bpm wise and will use this as another musical outlet for my productions. I’m not crazy about pigeonholing my sound, but lets just say its focus will center around all good things urban-electronic.

A few of my new tracks to check out if your interested here. Cinematic dubhop which I just signed exclusively to Nazt Sect publishing in North Carolina USA.  Coming out this year in the US the film Errand Boys which is using  my tune “Dirty little secrets”  The film features Brian Anthony Wilson (from “Limitless” with Bradley Cooper and HBO’s “The Wire”) and Stink Fisher (from Mark Wahlberg’s “Invincible”). The concept of the movie is 2 hitmen, 2 gangsters, and 1 bounty hunter are all trying to track down one stolen car. There is a love interest in the movie and a strange fatherly type relationship between one of the hitmen and a teenage homeless girl. This movie will be rated R for violence, language, and situation.

You can view the teaser for the film here:

Peace Out!
